Feeling the only person on the planet who had not read this series yet, I began the first novel I finished yesterday and today devour. What begins review of The Hunger Games!
1 - Overall Rating.
Katniss is a girl of District 12, who has lived in poverty for most of his life. In the beginning of the story Katniss goes hunting with his friend Gale, with whom he has been hunting for years.
However, that day is not one anyone is the day when taxes are chosen for The Hunger Games. Hunger Games are a competition organized by the Capitol in which 12 boys and 12 girls from each of the Districts must fight until only one remains alive.
That evening, Katniss with his mother and sister, Prim, go to the town square where will draw the names of the taxes. Katniss is nervous about the possibility you leave your name, but to his surprise out the name of his little sister who just had a stake. Before the girl could go on stage, Katniss volunteers to participate in it.

2 - Characters:
Katniss Everdeen: The protagonist of our story. It's a strong girl, strong and every fighter. After the death of his father Katniss creates a kind of armor that makes him see the world differently and forces him to act clever to carry your family forward. She loves her sister more than anyone in the world, so he has volunteered to go to the Games. Peeta
Mellark: The boy bread. (another character that I fall over *.*) Katniss Besides, the guy is elected from District 12 to go to the Games. At first their relationship with Katniss is quite dry, but spend more time together form Peeta shows greater sympathy and affection towards her. Is strong and has great skills in camouflage what is very helpful in the Games.
Haymitch: Peeta is the mentor and Katniss during games. The selection of taxes appears drunk, but eventually Haymitch tries to stay sane when he saw that his two new candidates are more likely to survive and try to help as much as you can.
Rue: is a small district of twelve 11 which is forced to participate in the Games. It's clever, elusive and can survive on the battlefield thanks to their stealth. Katniss and she formed a team for a couple of days together and become friends quickly. Although a lot Katniss reminds her sister Prim, are completely different.
3 - positive aspects and negative .
Esta novela es una verdadera obra de arte en la que soy incapaz de encontrar un minúsculo fallo. Los personajes, tanto los secundarios como los protagonistas son redondos : están llenos de características y tienen múltiples matices. La trama de la historia es increíblemente original . La narración, al ser en primera persona (no sé porque pero antes de leer la novela tenía la sensación de que era en narrador omnisciente) crea una lectura que te obliga a seguir leyendo y hace que pases las páginas sin apenas percatarte del tiempo que llevas pegado a la novela. En definitiva: estoy muerta de ansias por leer la continuación de este primer libro.
